We get an early goal and the game will be over. They’re appalling from an attacking point of view They managed to not have a single shot in the 30 mins plus that was left after they went behind to Spurs. DCL will give them a lot more potency if he’s anywhere near fit mind.
HaydnNUFC
Can't see Everton being as deep on Wednesday as they were at Tottenham, mind. They'll still sit off us like which is why the first goal in this is huge. If we get it I think we'll win the game.

Pilko
I think this'll be a bit like last year's game. Midweeker under the lights, brilliant atmosphere, home win.

Andy84
Everton seemed to have sorted their shit out a little bit this season being tougher to beat. Home win, just
STM
I'm oddly not so confident. I hope to god that Howe goes in strong on Everton. I'd rather we rested players away to Spurs. If Bruno and Wilson play I reckon we will get the win.
Whitley mag
The core of Everton’s team was strengthened in the summer with the 2 CB’s and Gueye/Onana in midfield. Much tougher game than last season especially with our injury problems and recovery time. Edited October 17, 2022 by Whitley mag

Ultimately, we have to be confident that we will dominate the ball and territory, its a case of can we score and not make a stupid error like against Bournemouth. Their signings really helped, how much of it was down to Frank I'm not sure, but once we dropped out of the Tarkowski race that allowed them to pick him up. I still don't rate him as a manager, but they'll do ok as a defensive team for now. Won't be easy to break down, especially without Maxi who tore them a new one last season. STM
What Lampard has done with Iwobi deserves massive credit. He's turned him into a midfield enforcer like Joelinton. Not as good obvs.
et tu brute
Play our strongest team possible for this game and make changes if necessary for the Spurs game. Get the first goal and we win comfortably imho.

ExiledGeordie
Might have a spare in Gallowgate for this. Currently have covid but will test Wednesday (day 5) to see if I’m still positive. If I am and no immediate friends want it I’ll let people know on here.
