So Bent just said that in real time he thought it was "a naughty one" but looking at the replay it wasn't, and then goes on to say the ref reached to the the red to quickly. Surely them two things go hand in hand, if the ref also thinks in real time, that its a bad challenge, surely he gives it a red. Not sure what he's meant to do, have a mothers meeting before deciding?

As much as I dislike Bruno F I don’t think that was a red. He slipped, he goes to make the foul and gets Maddison mid shin. There’s no real force as he’s lost all momentum.

 

I’d have been ok with a high, dangerous tackle on Maddison from Bruno F but it just wasn’t.
