At least he gets on the pitch. He would be benched for the season just to bed in under Eddie lol

Would have been the Isak replacement and judging by the chances we created last week would have probably grabbed a couple of goals already

Slightly fortunate to get a point but I'll take it. Fulham a decent team and there were a few sides they took 6 points off last year.

Away point is always a positive on the journey to 40 points.

As suspected, against a team that sat deeper and defended a bit more compact, Man United struggled to look anywhere near as much of a threat.

The midfield continues to struggle to progress the ball up the pitch and so they end up hoofing it forward too often to relieve pressure.

Thought Fulham moved the ball around much better and controlled the game. Think if ESR and Wilson start the game they might have got the win, as they added more quality.

Sesko again very quiet and quite passive in 42 mins of play, so almost a full half. Looks a bit lost in their setup and has been an invisible man.

If by fortunate you mean getting gifted a pen and getting a goal that should have been ruled out then yeah very fortunate to get a point

I thought both sides looked poor, it looked like a bog standard bottom half game.

Aye. He would obviously be better off under Eddie like. Think we would have been in a stronger position to get Wissa too, who would have taken time and heat of Sesko to let him bed in. Ah well, sliding doors and all that. Hopefully Manure continue to walk into theirs.

You've won the last 8 game at Craven Cottage. Terrible result for Man U considering the staggering amount of investment in the squad

Man United seem like they're going to be a very bi-polar team, in the first 10 minutes they looked quality, moved it around with ease, and created chances, but as soon as Fulham put more legs in the middle, and made it compact they really struggled to create consistent chances.
The system they play also relies heavily on full-backs, and Diallo, while good, is an out and out winger and doesn't have the defensive knack for the role, and Dorgu is just shit.
It also massively limits their best player by keeping him back in the midfield two, and stops him from doing his best attribute of creating chances.

Their keeping situation is also dire.

Central midfielder is still of supreme importance. Like you say, when Fulham put more legs in we were overrun. Casemiro is still starting.

New keeper looks to be on the way at least.

Man United fans have been flexing about their new £200 million frontline, but now we get to play the games and it's time to actually perform.

They thought singing Cunha and Mbeumo in particular, automatically meant that they would get the production those players had last season, but this manager, setup and approach is continuing to look very dodgy, and I don't think either player will replicate the form they showed previously.

People were writing off Kudus after last season in Potter's West Ham side, but so far under Frank he's looked fantastic and is primed for a bounce back season, while Mbeumo so far has looked like he's missing his former manager.

Not sure about this Amorim guy at all. Just not convinced. If you gave this team to Glasner tomorrow, who plays the same system, they'd be far more threatening.
