I’m not doing down what they’ve achieved as a newly promoted club. Too often I’ve seen even our own supporters comparing them to us when in reality we’re 3 points different. If a couple of those game where we conceded late goals hadn’t gone in the phrase “good teams find a way to win when playing poorly” would be wheeled out and we’d be sat in the top 6. Im not overly defending us here either because I think there’s definitely an issue with our current playing style but i don’t think we’re as bad as some people make out and I don’t think Sunderland are as good as some of our fans make out.
