Absolutely no denying Emery know ls how to navigate league and European competitions.

Quietly part of the strategy is not emphasising domestic cup competitions. FA Cup semi aside I remember a lot of early domestic exits. You can’t have it all.

Us going 3/4 strength for all domestic cups backfires.  If you’re going to throw it at the Quarters throw it in R3.

Braga on the bench for Hearts. Hearts fans saying that McInnes is going 5 4 1. Not sure if sitting back and inviting pressure is necessarily a good idea.

And a nation reaches for the mute button as Sky once again give extended coverage of the nauseating entitlement anthem.

This article was written mid Villa winning streak.  After Gw21 they had 42 points - borderline title challenging form.  They’ve picked up 20 points in the last 16 games which is firmly mid table form.  Supporting the idea that the underlying data was unsustainable.  They’ll end the season with the same points or less than Forest last season with an inferior GD and a similar season arc.

Europa League win and it’s the best season for Villa in my lifetime so it doesn’t matter.

These lot all just nervous or is the standard always this piss poor? Possession just bouncing randomly from one team to the next atm.

Hearts doing well so far, Celtic have barely had a sniff

Hearts players are going down for ages under the slightest contact which is killing any momentum Celtic build and dampening the crowd

For context, Hearts' wage bill is the same as a League 1 team in England

Couldn't give two shits about the FA Cup final today

Man City Vs Chelsea couldn't be a more soulless affair for the neutral. Id be surprised if anyone who doesn't support those two clubs gives one fuck about it.

Cheers, was just looking that up. Hopefully they do it today and qualify for the Champions League. Really shake up the finances in that league.

If the footy was like this for a whole season supporting one of these teams you'd have a permanent crick in your neck. The ball has barely touched the deck.
