No he shouldn't have re-taken it. That's the point I'm making. He should have just got given the goal.

I don't see why slipping and double hitting should allow be re-taken, but slipping and hitting it once wouldn't be.

As long as it's one obvious motion the outcome should just be whatever happens from the penalty itself.

Fair enough, we're both advocating for a rule change to the current one

Isn't it unfair on the keeper if the player manages some dodgy double kick that completely changes the course of the ball? I was fine with the existing rule. If someone slips, they slip. You don't get a retake if you twat it over the bar cos you slipped.

And if someone scuffs the spot up they should be punished for it.

You'd get some smart arses who'd be able disguise it eventually. Disallowing makes sense, re-take is fair enough.

Quite a funny but amateurish mistake by Finnish FA couple days ago, when they tried to add new player to womens Nations League squad in place of an injured one, but somehow managed to add 51-year-old that played few NT games in the 90s (same last name, totally different first name). Because of that, they of course couldn't name the player they were trying to add. YLE (our BBC) interviewed the ex-player and said she was never interviewed during her time in the National team or playing football, but once some newspaper had a picture of her after some game, and name was spelled wrong [emoji38] she said she asked if she can now join the bench, but it was more of a joke I guess.

Not really upto speed on I it all but I did hear a bit on the radio, yesterday.

Big kerfuffle about Frank Kirby then Millie Bright chucking the towel in but then, at the end, they said the manager hadn't picked them anyway.

Sounds like a load of bollox, 😂

It looks like Palace’s appeals for dispensation to be allowed into Europe has been rejected.

Good.

Wasnt there a deadline before the end of the season where persons with influence at more than one club had to resign one. Sure the fella at Forest had to do it when it looked like they were going to make CL.

If they missed then deadline then tough.

(This opinion may or not be influenced by their use of a drum in the FA Cup final )

Hope it does. Giving it all high and mighty about our ownership while Textor owns multiple clubs across Europe. Fuck any dispensation, thems the rules.

Its a clear conflict of interest. Forest shouldnt be allowed in the same competition as Olympiakos either.

Apparently spot goes to the team with the highest coefficient not in Europe so Man United back in.

In the event of Palace being barred from the Europa League, Forest could be promoted to take their place after qualifying for the Conference League by finishing seventh in the Premier League. Palace’s rivals Brighton, who finished eighth, could then replace Forest in the Conference League.
