So we saying it's this so far

Campos

Lahm

Baresi

Cannavaro

Dani Alves

Socrates

Busquets

Yaya Toure? Vieira?

Henry

Ibrahimovic

C.Ronaldo

Yes, I went for Viera, but it's 6 and 2 threes.

But that's how we ultimately scored it after a few straighteners, because he tried to sneak Casillas in instead of Campos, despite him being 5'11

We need a fat one of these. Andy Reid, Mark Viduka, Jan Molby etc

Alfredo Morelos always looked like he was smuggling a space hopper

Tallest front 6 including midfielders. Ibrahimovic is in there, I'm tempted to go for Crouch, but midfield and wingers are an issue getting tall players over say 6'2.

Is 6’1” too short for a tall midfielder?
@Abacus

Zidane.

Without naming individual players, I reckon fitness and tactics have moved on to the detriment of individuality in that 20 years that the 20-26 team would likely win.

Not sure it makes for a more entertaining game overall, though. In fact I'm fairly sure it doesn't.

Kinda linked to Mitchell’s comments on Beardsley, but also something i saw on Facebook - if you built an all star 11 from 00/01-05/06 and then 20/21-25/26 who would come out on top?

could be premier league or world 11s.

2000-06

Buffon

Cafu

Cannavaro

Maldini

Roberto Carlos

Makelele

Pirlo

Zidane

Ronaldinho

Ronaldo

Figo

Would batter any 2020-06 team imo. Plus the 2020-26 would be boring robotic sideways-passing cunts.

The game seems less tactical and technical to me these days, but it would be hard to compete against today’s athleticism. At some point we decided that having a team of players that can run 10-12km per game, press, and run sprints for 90 minutes was the best way to win games.

Would have Kaka instead of Makelele and potentially Nedved in for Pirlo.

Anyone fancy another reverse sheep quiz?

I'm thinking of chancing my arm in a few days running one and causing yet more distress to the forum with some erratic decision making.

Intriguing that you've asked this in the football section, the place where serious questions are asked.

I'd be keen though aye :)

Talking to one of my mates here about old footballs we would have kicked about with. Serious nostalgia trip looking at the likes of the 2002 World Cup ball and the various Premier League balls from back then.

Honestly thinking about starting a collection of World Cup balls.
