I was the same, then we scored again and it turned from slight annoyance to 'meh'

He’s not wrong! We were disjointed and errant in our overall play. We won due to instinctive finishing, mostly individual effort and poor Southampton end product.

 

Which is fine as good teams win when they’re not at their best!

I was thinking the same after today's result, we're two points off where they were after 14 games, and but for VAR should be at least level.

 

All the big 6 underperforming but for Arsenal and Man City, and Arsenal will fall apart at some point because it's what they do. Man City will probably walk it in the end but if they hit a bad patch we could do a Leicester (although I don't think that's very likely and I'd be very happy with just getting in the top 7).
