Bringing ASM on is suicide unless we're already behind or there's 5 minutes left imo. Saka would instantly be unlocked

Not necessarily. Shifting Joelinton into midfield instead of Willock might actually help defensively.

If they started throwing White forward more then we’d be in trouble.

Aye, Burn needs all the help he can get tonight.

How's that ? You'd think itvbrings Joe inside more and that helps Burn more.

They'll know that attacking Burn might force an error. We need Big Jow protecting Burn as much as possible.

If we bring on ASM, I don't think he'll protect Burn as much as Big Jow does.

Getting very tasty. I'm not sure it'll finish with 22 players on the pitch.

Outclassed for the most part, but we're hanging in there

A couple of dodgy reds followed by a mercurial French winger coming off the bench to win a dubious late pen to take the lead?

Yes, but the ref is going to play a part in what happens here I feel, it's got Ref/Var all over it this.

Yeah, 90th minute VAR induced goal for sure

As usual mind, I think Neville and Merson are largely talking shit about us not being a threat.

Yeah, that’s bollocks. Merson says we’ve been really deep and a quick look says our average positions have been more or less the same as theirs. We’re just more compact.

But then you'd have ASM where Joelinton was. At the moment Joelinton and Willock are both helping Burn out.
