England’s Anthony Gordon

Gordon has been brilliant on the left and has the goals to show for it as well, but when you think of what Barnes has proven over the last 5 or so years and in his glimpses here, I reckon he could get 15-20 from that position. Gordon's ball carrying ability can still be used on the right, plus he's a decent crosser. I think Barnes-Isak-Gordon could be an immense front line with plenty of goals.

It's absquad game and we are building. Barnes is really only left sided, Gordon can play along the line, right sided forward in the summer. Add in Anderson and Joelinton can both play wide left, possible Minteh coming in. Loads of options for keeping players fesh, rotating, from the bench freshness etc

I honestly don't think it makes a difference if he plays left or right, the lad is clearly comfortable playing either.

The most encouraging thing is that him, Barnes and isak are starting to link up, as much as I loved Wilson, miggy and even maxi last year, they aren't the guys taking us forward

Jesus his accent is starting to be a Scouse-Geordie hybrid

Hs accent has always seemed much more tolerable than the average scouser. Little to no phlegm.

That post game interview then. What a great personality. Really well spoken and engaging, very humble too.

We’ve got such a gem here. Everton must rue the day they hounded this lad out.

Imagine he was still playing under dyche, he'd be absolutely ruined by now. Eddie has turned him into some player. But you have to give so much credit to Gordon, he's just got such an amazing attitude and work ethic.

Astonished by his cutting edge, while he clearly did a lot right at everton i was worried he wasn't going to consistently score or assist and instead get praised for running a lot. He looks like he's had a few seasons to mature on the continent and come back new player in mid career not just half a season acclimatizing

There was a time this guy was seen as a pace merchant while at Everton.

His game is so versatile and intelligent man.

Incredible numbers this season. What an outstanding signing.
