I have a sneaky feeling, based on nowt in particular, that Isak will start.
Conjo
If Wilson wasn't going to start against Southampton I think Howe would have left him on together with Isak yesterday as against Fulham.
MrRaspberryJam
Think ASM coming in will be the only change.

STM
Again, I hate to stress this, but we aren't conceding goals, which is kinda crucial going into a semi final away leg. Who gives a fuck if this ends 0-0? Keep the side unchanged and worst case we go to SJP with a clean sheet.
Guest
Maximin and Isak to start hopefully. As long as we don't lose by 2 or more we'll go through.

Stifler
I’m absolutely shutting myself now. So nervous, and have been since yesterday morning.

I’ve gone from a brimming with confidence, firm belief, that we’ll definitely beat Southampton and fancying to beat either of the other two in the final, to angsting over how all three seeming massively improved and how we’re having a terribly-timed loss of form. They had 36% possession on Saturday and 8 shots to Villa’s 16. Won 2 of their last 14 league games. I’m not saying we will win, because there’s absolutely a chance they could turn us over, especially considering what they did to Man City. But if over the two legs we play anywhere near the level that we’ve played over the last 38 league games then we should be confident. GWN
Have faith, there’s a second leg , full house and it will be rocking . Hold our nerve , we can win over 2 legs . HWTFL
AJ9
We just need a goal or two to rebuild confidence. Excited for this game, what a chance we have (by the way).
samptime29
The fact we don't have to play an FA Cup game at weekend feels pretty useful tbh.
Billy Warthog
Southampton were beginning to improve lately, and they did knock out City in the last round. Whether or not City were arsed about it is another story. Maybe the Villa loss at home has knocked them again? Either way, we could do with a good win to bolster ourselves. We're fully capable of it, but I'd take a draw and get the job done back home if that's how it has to be. And yes, that Saturday off is a bonus. We'll worry about the final as and when! STM
This will be a much tougher game than expected. But ultimately, provided we don't do something stupid, we should dominate the ball.
Paully
Biggest game for years and years - howay the lads!
Stottie
Can't wait for this. Away goals don't count as a tie breaker any more, do they? So we can play just the usual keep-it-tight game first leg with no pressure to get something in the bag.
SiLvOR
Weirdly calm about this. Not even in the sense of being sure we'll win, I'm just glad we're in this position in the first place. Can guarantee by tomorrow I'll be shitting it.
Lazarus
The 1st leg game is the type we would normally lose, how many times has an out of form team suddenly put 11 worldies out against us? But I think we can beat them We got this.

Same I'm strangely calm but it could be the calm before the storm I guess I just really trust Howe to get it right across the 2 legs
Wilson
2 legs and gone for the 2nd made me confident... sitting myself now ha Squandered chances lately have me a bit worried.
mighty__mag
I'd rather be in our position than there's, I'm fairly confident we are capable now of seeing out both legs. When we played them in the league their defence was all over the place.
