The Prophet
Hoping for a nice early goal to settle the nerves. If it's 0-0 after 60 minutes I'll be shitting my pants.

scotia1997
Big night for you boys, will be watching it from up in Glasgow. Think an early goal will kill this tie off, Isak has to start for me, changed the game coming on last week. 2-0 mags for me tonight.

gbandit
Hope we can keep our heads tonight, that’s the main thing. We were really loose with the ball last week and we need to make sure we don’t do anything stupid because of how emotional the game is. As long as we can approach it like a normal game then we’ll win

Be surprised if they were that front-foot tonight
Smal
Yeah, both teams were shocking at passing in the first leg. The pitch was frozen. It was way colder down there than up here iirc. Edited January 31, 2023 by Smal
Chicken Dancer
We are going to give someone an almighty dicking soon. The chances we've missed over the last 2 games alone. Either tonight or Saturday we will score at least 3 - preferably both!

dcmk
Since they have to come out and force the issue to get a goal, would be a good counter measure to see ASM start and attack the space.
AyeDubbleYoo
As Rodney says, more likely they will defend quite deep for the first half (at least) so they don't allow us to end the tie.

Ah, the old Pardew v Benfica tactic. When we scored in the 71st minute or whatever it was to get back to 2-3 I actually thought it was on.
JB
I think it'll be the same line up and the same scoreline as last week, fully expecting to be bricking it for 90 mins.

Was just going to say, think they'll try and keep it tight in the first half, maybe try and play for set pieces and hope to nick a goal. Then if it's not happening, they'll have to move up in the second half.
Solitude20
So Eriksen is out until May after the injury he got against Reading. This would make our final against Man U a bit easier.

Bigirimana on the right was minging but it did the job first half, if we'd conceded it was game owa. Seem to remember Cisse had one narrowly chalked off for offside before the break too. 1-0 up with 20 to go, man, if that HBA shot had gone in... Rich
Does Jones do "sitting in"? I thought his style was all about being unafraid to turn the ball over, counter-pressing, and being quite direct?
