It’s the first time Eddie tries him there, and that allowed Bruno to play in his preferred role. He started his career at Brescia as a deep-lying playmaker, and that’s how he got all the Pirlo comparisons (leaving the hairstyle aside). Did some nice defensive work but he looks like he’s lacking confidence and he keeps misreading how to play in others and they misread him.
