No, no, stop guys! You're ruining it! The reason he's not performing at his best is because he got forced out and his heart belongs with San Siro! We need to stick with the narrative!

When he came on, he played as the deep-lying midfielder and Bruno then moved up to LCM for a while before getting subbed. It’s the first time Eddie tries him there, and that allowed Bruno to play in his preferred role.

He started his career at Brescia as a deep-lying playmaker, and that’s how he got all the Pirlo comparisons (leaving the hairstyle aside). One thing for sure is that both him and Bruno are pretty flexible at playing different roles in the midfield.

Credit to the supporters yesterday for giving his name so much time in the overall chanting, including when he was off the pitch. He's had a slow start all told so that sort of adulation was really timely.

still hate the end of that chant.

have to think of something better thats actually fits.

I hate all of that chant, it's fucking awful.  Eats spaghetti, drinks moretti, hates fucking sunderland is just cringeworthy.

First touch in that half of football was very poor. Did some nice defensive work but he looks like he’s lacking confidence and he keeps misreading how to play in others and they misread him. That’ll come with time but I hope he has a much better second half and can build some confidence

Different country, language, culture and league. Reserving what is close to final judgement with this guy at least closer mid to end of season and final judgement by next year.

Joelinton, Gordon etc has proven why you really just have to.

Isak has struggled as much as him

No coincidence that they've played all the tougher teams

Hoy him in at home to Burnley see how he gets on

Isak hasn’t struggled like, he’s played well in a side that’s created barely anything
