Can only be open a certain amount of days over the summer I think. So they’ve opened it earlier due to the club World Cup and close the number of days needed (I think)

So Fifa/Uefa can just change the rules whenever they want so long as cash is involved ?

Blame the Saudis for that. They conveniently gave DAZN £1bn to cover it after getting the World Cup.

Brentford apparently set the fee for Mbeumo at £60 million take it or leave it.

 

Not looking to negotiate and happy to keep him if no one meets that.

Said it a while ago that I don’t see them selling for as little as 50m. Got told they are a selling club. Still might happen obviously, but I just don’t see it.

Must be cheaper options elsewhere.

Certainly seems like the clubs that are interested think the fee is on the high side.

 

But when you wait till after a season where he's scored 20 goals in the Prem ... it's going to be tough to justify paying less.

No denying that he’s a good player. Just not sure if it’s worth it considering that we need to spend money for other positions as well. My biggest gripe with Mbeumo is that he isn’t all that in general play and has played in a very transitional team like Brentford. Similar view that I have with Elanga. With Mbeumo obviously being a much better player.

The fact he can cover ST and is essentially 2 in 1 makes it a no brainer for me.

Osula should be given the last 15/20 mins of games next season if Isak comes off, and if Isak needs resting fully, we can go Osula up top, or stick Mbuemo there and give Murphy a game.
