Going to be a bit nervy going into the season with two strikers who don’t score goals as their primary attribute but.. sure, I’ll take it.

Chicken Dancer
I know I’m a pure broken record but spending £60m + on any of them 3 - JSL, Jackson or Wissa - and we’ve pissed up the Isak profit before it’s even hit our account. Don’t do it NUFC, you’ve fucked up this summer but try not to fuck up one more time.

Optimistic Nut
It's not like we'd be taking on a no-hoper and just praying. We'd be signing someone who has over 1 in 3 in La Liga & the Premier League over the last 3 seasons. I don't think it'd take much time under Howe to get that nearer 1 in 2.5 or 1 in 2 with the way we play.

If we lose world class striker I would hope us spend the money making us stronger and giving us more options. All credit to Wissa, but if Woltemade is Wilson’s replacement then Wissa would be Isak’s Edited September 1, 2025 by Elephant

oldtype
Maybe copium, but signs do point to Chelsea stalling until the last minute because they thought they may be able to extract a permanent deal out of us (we all know the two clubs talk a lot and have a good working relationship.) Does that mean recalling Jackson was because they thought they would have a permanent deal from us and not because of the Delap injury? Probably not, but there is a slim chance. We will, but I’d still be dead against it at the prices quoted. Chelsea literally bought two strikers this summer to effectively push Jackson down the pecking order. Why we’d help them shift him at double what they paid is ridiculous. Wissa I do like but he’s also shown himself to be a bit of a prat, who also may have just had his purple patch. To be clear, he’d be my choice if it was only out of these 3, but not for £60m. Strand Larsen I just don’t think is very good. He’s not worth £40m, never mind near £70m. andycap
I must admit if it was upto me I'd like a wissa type a younger Vardy a nippy player that will steal into the, area and get us goals like Wilson used to. Nowt better than a ball over the top and a whippet sprinting after it.

But he just never looks a natural finisher and was hardly ever clinical with the chances he got at Chelsea. It’d be far better than nobody, mind

KaKa
We should be doing everything possible to sign Kolo Muani, as he'd give us similar attributes to what 14 provided upfront. He is essentially has all the similar quality play in build up that Jackson has, but is a much better and more reliable finisher already.
