Have an Italian cousin who absolutely detested this guy at AC Milan, he did very well at Atalanta however.

Yeah, the jump from Belgium to AC Milan was too big for him.

Has really come on well at Atalanta the last couple of seasons though.

Guarantee Eddie carries a laser pointer at all times. I can just see him now: “So I’ve colour-coded the various- Yassir! Eyes this way and listening ears on, please, this is important.” And finishing every slide with, “Any questions before we move on?”

Love the guy.

'I'll pause here for questions and comments'

Or

'You've had the slides, I'll take them as read and am seeking approval to move forward'

My personal favourites when you haven't prepared quite as well as you should have or the discussion before your item was more interesting

Man, we used to mercilessly humiliate our business studies teacher because of his reliance on the overhead projector.

"Sir, what would happen if the electricity went off?", "What would happen if a slide got smudged?". Sheer cruelty.

I'm bored ...

Been wondering about other versatile youngish forwards that could offer similar things to what we all hoped Joao Pedro would.

One that can play upfront and also in behind the striker, and thread passes through that open up defences.

I wonder if we'd look at De Ketelaere at Atalanta. Ticks a lot of those boxes.

Physical enough to cope with the PL would be my big question. Always felt he looked a little fragile.

Think that would be an adjustment he'd need to make for the PL for sure.

He's improved in that regard since he first went over to Italy, but could still do with some more toughening up.

Aye, circa £22 million.

PSR friendly price but get the sense he’d be a stopgap rather than a long term Fab replacement. Antonio Silva is the boy but you just know those West London wankmuffins will swoop in and add £50k a week to his wages the moment we agree a fee.

That is about the craziest thing we did like, probably why we were tolerated.

I never claimed to be cool.

Should’ve been in our German class. We used to lock our teacher in the classroom cupboard

Seems like speculation based off our interest last year.

Moretto is quoted as saying: “Last year Newcastle were looking for Thiaw and today Newcastle are still looking for a central defender. So keep an eye on this path, at the moment there is nothing concrete, but I can confirm that Newcastle are also evaluating Thiaw, who, in addition to returning to Germany, would be interested in an experience in the Premier League.”
