The season kicks off in two weeks time! Shambolic window.

Only blessing, of the core XI, they should all be fit and ready to go (bar Isak situation). It's just the weak options off the bench.

Something we can ride for first two games, but the signings then have to be guys that can hit the ground running.

(now to get injuries in last 3 friendlies)

Feels almost irrelevant if it’s Osula up front for any of the opening games.

Who has Samu actually been linked by? Because all I have seen is this article, which says we should buy him, people in here saying we should buy him, and people on twitter saying we should buy him. No actual mention as to if we're actually interested.

Aye, impossible to work on multiple deals at a time.

Depending on how much we end up spending on strikers, which they're clearly prioritising at the minute, it will likely determine how much we spend on a CB, and who then go for.

Got nothing to do with doing one deal at a time for goodness sake

I think everyone of our journalist have said we work on one deal at a time.

As I said tho, we clearly don’t as we made a triple bid at one point. I just don’t think they are very good at negotiating

Possibly aye, although it did seem we focused on Pedro until he went to Chelsea. Then Elanga who we thankfully got. Then Ekitike until he rejected us then back on to Trafford. It’s hardly surprising given we only have a small team to do deals.

Doesn’t really inspire much hope for the rest of the window does it? 4 weeks to get 4 or 5 players?

I still can't believe how shit this window has been.

I really thought CL football would be a big pull, seemingly made fuck all difference.

There's still a small part of me that is hopeful, but with 4 weeks left my confidence is draining fast.

I think the more accurate description is that we can only "close" one major deal at a time, which I imagine is true for most major clubs. More preliminary transfer talks will always be percolating in the background.

Utter bullshit. Isak is the only example since the takeover of a player agitating to leave.

Our problem is the opposite. Under Eddie Howe, every player ends up playing the best football of their lives. It's getting rid of them that then becomes difficult.

Muniz would be a poor signing. Work colleague is a Fulham season ticket holder and he said many thought he wasn’t good enough when in the championship. He has improved and is a bruiser up top with the occassional nice finish but Jimenez is more clinical.
