If I see KaKa apologising for something small that most egos could handle then this really will be the most unexpected and terrifying transfer window of our lives.

I genuinely don't give a toss but he has previous for acting the way he does - he really needs to work on how he communicates with people.

Isn't it a bit mental though, if your totally wrong and it's been proven and going plough on?

Personally I'd be okay with Muniz or Wissa and slightly happier with 'Samu' given his age / potential.

Samu & Wissa in, Isak out. Over the moon with that, tbh.

We should still have left over for a cb, maybe even a midfielder.

Don't see the value in paying a big fee for Muniz personally.

Wissa is ok at 30m, although contract length really matters for that deal.

I'm not arsed about transfer fees, I just want to see us sign players that we need.

This is an internet football forum for fuck sake, people getting into fights with each other and asking for apologies shows a complete lack of perspective. Get a grip, get a life, stop taking everything so seriously.

Are you going to apologise to Menace for criticising him asking for an apology?

Aye thats the profile we need from two strikers signings.

One experienced that we know will be solid straight away.

One young with huge potential that we hope can develop into a top class CF.

Are you sure you've watched him the past two seasons at all [emoji38]

Can't be bothered to go looking for all his best goals, but since you said you didn't see one decent strike at all!

Tbf, while both are great goals, they still don't really tell you if he can hit a decent strike. One is a volley where the power comes from the delivery, the second is a dink over the keeper. What I was talking about was a striker who can hit a dead ball sweetly, those are the ones who can score goals from anywhere. Isak is particularly good at this, for a slight fella, he can really hit it with some power.

well one month left of the transfer window. probably everyone expected we will be bit more ahead at this point than Elanga + Ramsdale on loan, Howe especially. we need some positive lift, players too that makes them think this season will be huge and not one where we regressing due to recruitment or lack of it.

problem now is until we kow the outcome of Isak saga its two different versions running, are we strengthening same side as we had or are stuck in replacing Isak as well. itss clear Isak wants to jump ship and go to horrible Liverpool, but not 100% sure they pay up enough this summer. how sick to break league record with Wirtz transfer and then break it again weeks later for Isak. imagine Newcastle would now spend 130 for someone, then 150m for another one. whole media would be up in arms about us killing football. these articles simply not written when Liverpool is doing this...

It honestly blows me away how much football people must watch. I go home and away watching NUFC and bar the odd player I’ve seen a few times live and the obvious well known players I couldn’t tell you how good or bad anyone is, or certainly not to any level of detail.

people on here and Twitter seem to be able to tell you someone’s best position (in their opinion) blood groups and allsorts.

Not sure if you're serious but it's pretend. Some of the worst offenders have admitted to looking at a player's stat profile then coming in here saying "I really like him" or whatever. It's bizarre behaviour. Dossers and dwads.

Without sounding like that article posted yesterday, I think people are sleeping on the midfield situation. It's almost taken over the CB problem for me. Purely from a numbers perspective.

Bruno has been run into the ground for the last 2-3 years and Joelinton has proven the last few years that he does pick up injury problems as well as suspensions.

We always play 3 in midfield and we are asking those guys to put in a massive shift and to; a) not get fatigued b) not get injured and c) not get suspended.

The drop off to Miley and also injury prone Willock is huge. Striker and midfielder are essential and then ideally a CB to improve the standard of defenders and replace aging Schar/Burn and cover injury prone Botman.

Should have been done last summer but again it gets pushed down the line and in terms of urgency it can probably wait til January now due to other necessities.

Especially without context. It would be like looking at Ramsdales cleansheet stats without looking at what team he played for etc.

Stats are nearly always used to show someone's negative flaws too, which is often some sort of confirmation bias.
