Absolute joke. Truth be told I’ve already lost interest in this season. This is just a sign of how things are now. Basically begging for scraps at the cartel 6 table and packaging off our best players with a bow, a couple of low dignified salaams and a wish for them to treat him as well as they’ll pay him. It’s fucking nauseating.

 

Nicholas Jackson and John McGinn - in the summer we were meant to kick on after our PSR woes were apparently behind us. Fuckin awful. 
 

It’s all well and good losing a few quality menu items - wait until they come for the chef. And the first manager that the cartel 6 that goes - you best believe Eddie Howe will be top of their list to replace them.

I wouldn’t be averse to McGinn if we brought in another midfielder like Paqueta to change our style up as well. But I highly doubt that is happening. Gallagher would make way more sense to me as a replacement for Longstaff.

I have been considering this. It’s grim as fuck, but the fact that they allowed these positions to go unfilled when they’ve had time to fill them is just fucked up. If they already have filled them and are waiting, then that’s another matter. Either way, the Mitchell signing last summer clearky set us back significantly. To say we are a rudderless ship does a grave disservice to rudderless ships.

The reason you don't do all your deals or do them in an order as Striker is obviously a high priority position for Eddie so we need to sort that first as there is only X amount of money available. Maybe this means Sesko is signing and Isak is staying so we've gone for a cheap short term option in CM

This would be a good idea, to be honest. We should mostly be looking to supplement the squad at this point.

No and no, but could see how in time it could be seen as a raising the floor window despite being a complete disaster at the time. Wouldn't bet on getting them though.
