gbandit
Just now, Nine said: You need to zoom out. Worse than any of the Ashley years? Things need to borne in mind within context. The Ashley years were horrific for the club, unimaginably worse than where we are now. We are in such a better position and with that comes the context and expectation to keep levelling up as a club, especially as we are about to begin our toughest campaign ever with 8 games lined up in the champions league. With Ashley, he tore the club apart and we all expected nothing and got nothing. With PIF it’s very different, we’re just completely inept off the pitch right now. And on the pitch we don’t have a striker currently and we have a weakened squad compared with last season, and all our rivals have massively strengthened. It’s been an absolutely horrific window. If we somehow salvage it then fair play, I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t think it would be possible and I’ll be delighted. However, as it stands right now, in terms of what we need as a club, in terms of what we have to spend, in terms of the season ahead, this has been a disaster

Its different of course, but going into a CL campaign thinking this was the season to push on. Instead we are acting like complete amateurs, and getting laughed at from the whole football world. Its embarrassing.

I would have said that about Sesko tbh - honestly if rumours are true and Arsenal and Spurs are looking at him what have we got to lose. Endrick is available on loan as well apparently - surely that is worth a punt. Bruno could help persuade them - who knows.

I just want some links to get excited about. We'd soon forget about Isak if we got those two in. Agent Bruno. Mike Tyson: "I'm a dreamer. I’m confident that Wissa would score lots of goals for us. Imo he’d be more than a Wilson replacement. Any other striker we try for will have us rinsed, especially when you consider quality to cost. Keep Isak to whatever he feels like. Wissa isn’t currently available and we don’t know if he’s going to be available.

Attempting to break our transfer record twice and being wee guy'd by the cartel teams both occasions, numerous other rejections, lazy links to underwhelming and over priced PL players suggesting the scouts are all out of ideas, having your best player in generations downing tools, everyone in football laughing at the fact that no one wants to join us and it now being painfully obviously that there is no leadership structure at club is infinitely more painful than Mike Ashley's husk of a club deciding against a 1m loan fee for Hamza Choudoury. Context is key. We're now an ambitious club trying to build on a successful season, we headed into this window only really needing 3 bits of quality at RW, RCB and GK, we had plenty of PSR head space, no pressing need to sell any purples and a list of exciting links that had been doing the rounds for a while, there was so much to look forward to. MagPar
Ok, I've watched the video and he's clearly guilty. I just dont understand why the charges were dropped. I wholeheartedly apologise to anybody that I may have offended with my ambiguous comments. I haven't read all the people that quoted me as I'm sure they're quite offensive, but I'll admit they are merited. I didn't have all the info at the time, I do now and can only say how disappointed I am with the justice system.

Sorry, may sound crazy, but I'd still take this. The Ashley days were pushing me towards an existential crisis in terms of trying to figure out if I even liked/cared about the club I supported anymore. For what its worth, he still lives with the lass and has two kids with her and her father wants her to marry him. Her dad was apparently instrumental in dropping the charges. No doubt he's an absolute cretin and I never suggested him as a Newcastle player, I just put the question out there.
