NUFC Transfer Rumours

 Don't really know where to start with this tbh. I'll start at the end - I don't think anything is unrealistic, we've been linked with everyone.

This isn't really true at the moment though is it. Things have narrowed considerably. They're clearly looking at forwards with some level of either Premier League, or Champions League experience before the window closes. They're not going to turn around and go "hang on, let's sign that lad out in Ukraine. You know, the one who's barely played a game over there."

I'll grant we were looking at this sort of signing early in the window/before it opened. Made a couple, Park, Cordero. But at this stage in the window it's just a daft suggestion.

Also, apologies. I'm tired and cranky lol.

Get a creative number 10 like Alikouche

and one more striker, I’m ok with Jackson or Wissa or SL anyone of that ilk will do at this point

Keep Isak until January

buys us time and gives us options to mix things up

Isak had that creativity flair to him which getting a Jackson Wissa or SL won’t resolve. Hence getting some of that into the team is iseful

That's that up the shitter then.

Mason Greenwood? We've already got one cunt at the club.

Idiot.

It wasn't funny the first time you mentioned him a couple of weeks ago.

We didn't lose any of those games last season though. Was home games against 2 of them we struggled more in

Fair, point still stands though teams who are happy to draw against us or catch us on the break we need to find a player who can unlock those defences. Even as an option off the bench.

Maybe Ramsey can

We've also signed a Spanish second division winger, a Korean second division winger, and last season signed Osula despite him not getting a game for relegated Sheff United.

As I said in my post, it would be a project signing. I don't think it's as unrealistic as you're presenting it and really I was just asking about him, not saying it'll happen, I don't even think Wissa is going to happen never mind this.

You know what's gonna happen if we fail to strengthen up front.

DCL will start knocking them in at Leeds and Vardy will get a move to Burnley or Brentford and do the same. Then the same detractors will be frothing at the mouth saying why didn't we try for them. 😂

We also just cannot finish the transfer window in the state that we are now, with Osula and Sean Neave being the clubs only on the books recognised Strikers.

We just cannot.

They have to sign someone surely!

So Jackson looking like Villa

Wissa currently down the pisser

And Stand Larsen unsurprisingly looking like a non starter.

Things going well.

Would think there is a strong chance we make a futile attempt at Muniz (despite Fulham saying he is staying) and Watkins who is unlikely but possibly our best option in the short term. Kluivert or Mateta probably next to be linked too. We will have to pay through the nose whomever we get.

Simply can't believe there aren't quite a few options abroad. Its really throwing someone in the deep end though.

Not doing so could really set the club back 3 or 4 years.

Vaguely related, but why aren’t we at the point where we’re getting linked with random euro strikers to take a punt on? We have absolutely no one right now. Surely dropping 20 beans on someone who has bagged 30 goals in a Mickey Mouse league isn’t the worst idea now?

Eddie needs to scout the fuck out of anyone for at least 2 years. No chance we take a punt on a random despite our desperate situation, hence why we’ll end up with someone like Jackson just because they know what he can do.

It’s an approach that needs to change but will only come when Howe has a DOF and scouts he trusts.

It feels like we've loaded up FM with the English only database.

Half understand the approach PSR wise, but when players like Kalimuendo are going for under £30m, surely they would do as a Wilson replacement at least.

I can’t believe there’s a couple of people on here who regularly watch Shaktar Donetsk and will have a worthwhile opinion on their striker

You’re pissing in the wind dude and it’s gale force

Once again, no offence

You'd be very surprised Robert, there's fans from all around the world on this forum. I recall a Polish fan hyping Lewa when he was still at Poland before he went Dortmund. Chances are someone knows their thing about the Ukranian league on here like.

We even had someone watching Georgian football
