He’s only 17 but looks a unit and few clubs watching him. At this stage I think we need to be thinking a bit out of the box. If we could get Larsen and someone like this lad, compliment it with a midfielder and we might get through to January without the season being over. Like would Eddie Howe ever sit down over a coffee with a potential signing to gauge their character and to ask about their goals as a player? Would seem sensible to me. I think it would be a lot to put on a 17 year old to be starting games for Newcastle while Isak is not available. We need a PL ready striker to act as Wilson's replacement. You do it in any other job/interview so you would think so. Most players speak of the managers vision for them when they sign. Madness if they dont, and sure Howe definitely does. OoOGazOoO Posted August 28, 2025 Share Posted August 28, 2025 Do you think if we continue to get knocked back on JSL and Wissa, we would take a punt on a young or uncoming striker from abroad as a bit of a risk signing? Part of me is hoping that there are players out there that we are interested in that haven't been mentioned, maybe because they aren't proven, but have bags of potential.
