We’re about 100 hours away from the window slamming shut.

It’s squeaky bum time now.

@admins should have a counter front page counting down the minutes… will be glad to see the back of it

Given Gordon has scored 1 goal as a forward, and Osula has 2, we've got a way to go like

Depends how long the list is, as mentioned. I'd imagine the players who suit the criteria I mentioned are absolute barrel-scrapings at this point.

I think that's unfair, he's been playing in a shit team with half-arsed managers/tactics. Prior to that he looked alright, under Eddie, with our pressing attack, he'd be worth a punt, especially on a loan with an option to buy.

I keep hearing that repeated on here but the evidence suggests otherwise to me. He doesn’t have the attributes, the finishing ability or the football IQ. His goal record prior to Man U is not impressive, he must have some genius PR is all I can say.

he was underwhelming when he arrived and has just gotten worse and worse.

Our negotiation team aspires to move at the speed of this graceful creature

Andy Howe's reaction when there is encouragement from a player only to wake up to "offer rejected player is staying out"

This thread needs somebody with a positive outlook such as me, so I'm here to reassure you all that Osula will have a breakout season with 18 PL goals and make the Denmark squad for the World Cup. Mark. My. Words.

That's good. Not enough people are talking about Will. He's got a 1 in 2 success rate thus far, that's all we need.

Exclusive: Mark Mywords has rejected Newcastle as he doesn’t want to uproot his family this late in the window.

Is that Samu Aghehowa for Porto no good?

Injured. And the problem with someone from outside the Premier League is that Howe will take a great deal of time to slowly ease them in. As much to relieve the pressure of immediately having to perform (see Sesko now at ManU), as well as to get them drilled into our patterns of play.

This is why we seem to be "Premier League-proven or nothing" in our approach. With Isak on strike, we need to get strikers who can immediately be comfortable with the League, and not suffer from a loss of confidence when they don't immediately live up to their hype. Ekitike notwithstanding, who seems to be a very confident player.

Also - if Osula DOES start scoring goals, he could potentially become Bruno/Shearer/Milburn level folk hero. Maybe the most popular of all.
