So this summer i want -

1. Anderson back

2. Keeper (Man City number 2 will do)

3. Striker

Then just replace anyone that leaves with younger, fitter, stronger versions.

Sorted.

Anderson is going to city

He’s got pretty much every big club around the world chasing him, will be a huge coup if we  pull it off.

Has anyone made the 'Shola has already sorted out a loan move to Partick Thistle for him' joke yet?

Promising if extending our reach and trying to get these players early, hopefully can unearth a few gems for the squad/first team this summer. Really need 6-8 squad players with 4 a first team upgrade and could do with a few younger players capable of stepping in.

If we start next season with Burn, Trippier, Pope starting we failed miserably.

We can but we would need to buy extremely well to end up with a better attack after it. And if we lost Tonali we’d need to spend a fair bit just to stay still in CM as well.

Gordon has goals and assists in him, but is he actually a good player? Would he be a starting XI player for top club? I doubt it. He is Eddie's type of player, but 70-80 million we should sell without blinking.

I for one looked forward to us backing out after considering to ready an offer for this person I have no idea about.

I think Gordon would be fine in the right team and setup. Needs better players around him. That said for right money and if invested well I think developing the team within our restrictions comes first.

I think he is an athlete first and footballer second. And likes to think himself and his stats quite highly.

Good player, but much easier to replace than someone like Bruno or Livramento imo.

I think that first line applies to most top footballers now unfortunately.

Livramento’s best asset is by far and away his athleticism. Absolutely nothing wrong with that btw, but if you take the opinion that ‘athletes’ are easier to replace than ‘footballers’, he should be the first one out the door.

He can't be rubbish and expect to bring in 80 million.

He can't be just an athlete and score 17 goals in a season.

He can't be overrated and get picked by Premier League and international managers.

He can come across arrogant and rub people up the wrong way but we are talking about someone who has stepped up into a position when his club and manager needed him.

But I guess everything is black and white with this club.

Just don't think he is anywhere near our biggest problem right now

Whatever you think of Gordon he's our best attacking player in two positions out of the front 3.

Replacing him won't be easy.

I don't think Gordon goes this summer. Recently signed a new long term deal and is stating to become the main man for us in offense.

Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to listening to offers for him, but with Tino and Tonali's futures up in the air, I think we'd block any move for the time being.

I don’t understand those are who horny to sell him. One thing to get a fair price and move him on for financial reasons, another to gleefully whisk him away.

Sorry, best I can do is a Rodrigo Vilca

Knowing our luck, he'll turn out to be the South American version of Ali Dia.

We'll sign him on the back of him claiming to be Pele's older brother.
