Really need 6-8 squad players with 4 a first team upgrade and could do with a few younger players capable of stepping in. Absolutely nothing wrong with that btw, but if you take the opinion that ‘athletes’ are easier to replace than ‘footballers’, he should be the first one out the door. He can't be overrated and get picked by Premier League and international managers. He can come across arrogant and rub people up the wrong way but we are talking about someone who has stepped up into a position when his club and manager needed him. Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to listening to offers for him, but with Tino and Tonali's futures up in the air, I think we'd block any move for the time being.
