Who was our Bolivian?

Always one smart Alec isn’t there

(as a Peruvian nationalist I don’t recognise the state of Bolivia )

Livramento’s best asset is by far and away his athleticism. Absolutely nothing wrong with that btw, but if you take the opinion that ‘athletes’ are easier to replace than ‘footballers’, he should be the first one out the door.

Yea, but it is a bit different with a fullback. Modern fb has to have lungs to go up and down the wing all game. Winger has the responsibility of scoring and assisting. Is Gordon worth 60-80 million in that? I doubt. His pressing and running are valuable to Howe's game though.

Livramento is that good at giving the final pass. But is he worth 60-70 million? No, especially with his injury record.

He absolutely is and his injury record is for some reason becoming massively over stated.

60-70 million player is, at least for a team like us, someone we cannot cope without. Is Livramento that good? I wouldn't say so. Great player of course, but big English tax.

Well given Trips performances in not sure

Plus Tino comes with a bunch of taxes. The thing counting against us is his contract length.

Put on the TV and just flicked onto SSN for less than 60 seconds(!!!) and they tell me Arsenal want Gordon and Tonali and Man Utd are after Hall. Unbelievable shit stirring. Glad we've got the WC to fill in some of this empty news space.

Any chance if we give Arsenal Gordon they'll give us a free run at Kvaratskhelia :bluestar:

He looks very talented.

That's been said so many times about players who, within a year, are playing for Yeovil reserves on loan and not getting a game

I'd sell Tonali (in and out of form),  livra (too injury prone) & Gordon (high stock, the right time) and tie down Bruno and Hall. We'll not get a better leader than Bruno with his quality and there aren't many lbs better than hall. Replace Gordon with a proper striker, Tonali with a proper defensive midfielder and tino with 2 right backs of similar quality to also replace trippier. We'd be such a better balanced team without spending. Whatever we've got go in the bank spend it on a backup lb, young lw and the best goalkeeper we can attract.

Another season with Elanga and Murphy as RW’s? 😭

I'd give Elanga another season. Then release Murphy in 27 and spend the kitty on a rw if Elanga doesn't step up.

Coventry or Boro must have £12-15m they'd like to give for Murphy this summer.

We need a RW IMO, and that might mean selling Murphy, which I would be a bit sad about. We can give Elanga another season and try to turn him into an effective push and run winger, but he has serious flaws that it’s too late to do anything about.
