England's Lewis Hall

Every time he plays it just looks more and more bizarre that he had hardly been given a chance this season, especially when we were on our knees and Burn was getting torn apart week in week out.

Will probably feel he should have done a little bit better for the third goal (not just him), but in general a really good performance both ways. He has to be our starting left back next season for me.

Think he played a really slick forward back-heel pass to get the pressure out our box at one point as well. Sure it was him.

Either way, him and Tino are the future.

Our best player tonight. Didn't deserve to finish on the losing side - hope he can come back next season and nail down that left back spot as he's showing all the signs of being a class player.

Probably just Eddie protecting him mate. There was literally an interview out today where he admitted he wasnt fit enough. What good would it be for his mentality to throw him into a massively struggling team at 19 years old? Thats from the Bruce playbook

And if so a change in style. Current set up doesn't lend well to 2 bombing on fullbacks.

He's got some serious potential like. Love his tenacity and ability to get a foot in, in addition to some good technical ability. On the basis of the last few performances, I don't really see any reason at this point why he can't be first choice next season.

Can’t defend particularly well unless they’re set in position but plenty of time to learn and is somewhat understandable given he’s relatively new to the position. Really impressed with him the last few games.

Our best player last 2 games. Decision making is getting better and he has all the technical ability in the world. For all the bluster they were making about that Diallo he did nothing apart from 3 shots from the edge of the box from corners, Hall kept him facing the other way the whole game.

Was really good. Tenacious defensively. Great on the ball. Only thing is he’s so good on the ball that his passing could be even more hurtful to the opposition.

I do wonder if he can play in midfield to be honest.  He’s a better footballer than most we have in there. He can play under pressure unlike Sean lad.  Maybe doubts about his legs. But he looked strong and quick when he needed too tonight.

We need this type of technically superior player imo.
