If anything, hopefully this means Eales is doing well with his treatment and recovery. Has there been any previous statement / interview about that?

Afaik his condition isn't treatable. Can only be managed/minimized until you can't.

Palace fans love to take the moral high ground, if they appoint Moody it'll be a bit more difficult given he was the one swapping multiple racist and offensive messages with Malky Mackay at Cardiff.

Palace fans claiming he’ll be at Newcastle within 18 months.

Some way to cope.

Pretty happy with Mitchell. His experience is far greater than Dougie. No idea if we missed out or dodged a bullet but we got a much safer bet imo.

This summer will be our first real taste of the transfer market under Mitchell. Really excited for it.

Was thinking this earlier.

Is this the first trophy a club where Mitchell is the DOF have won?

My immediate (overtly negative) thought is that they’ll be prepping fans for a big sale in the summer.

It's got to happen at some point unfortunately, unless the rules change, which they won't.

One big sale sets you up for a few seasons. Just look at Liverpool and Villa (Couthino/Grealish), they accelerated massively off the back of those sales.

I semi agree but the caveat is that Villa were leaping up to where we already are. Can the same strategy take you from CL challenger to title challenger?

Different landscape now, who's paying these big transformative fees? The external money from PSG/Man City and even Chelsea, under Ambramovich, that oiled the transfer system has really gone down due to PSR and possibly Qatar losing a little interest after hosting the World Cup.

He was by Howe today, absolutely loving life!

Here's a zoomed in shot off a pic of mine, not great but he's there

Shocked that TBG hasn't posted about Howe not including him in the staff he thanked and got to take a bow.

Hell of a way to find out TBG is Mad Dog.
