Great start, looked bloody good first 10 minutes. Then soon as Forest upped the intensity, we’ve gone missing again. Unable to control the play and turned it into yet another scrappy game. Just doesn’t feel sustainable when games are often turned into this.

Half Time rejig because of the Willock sub, calm heads, and we should get back in control against this Forest XI.

Tonali - we have missed you. Makes the game look so easy.

Mixture of Scholes/Pirlo with his plethora of passing in that half.

Pretty even overall but we created the better chances, some players still look a bit lacking in concentration & fitness, bitty and expect this is not going to be the last time we play like this away from home this season.

Bit of a sluggish performance, but a few bright spots. Think Barnes has looked lively, and Sandro has pinged about some lovely passes. Some encouraging things there

Absolutely loving Tonali. What a massive upgrade on Longstaff, his brain and skill is miles ahead. I kind of wanteda new RW more. But i can see why we are desperate for Guehi. With Schar out of the teams our passing out from behind is dreadful.

Every team we seem to.play are quicker, retain ball better, more aggressive and press with purpose. We look lethargic and no ideas most the time.

Need to try and get a hold of games more, started well in this but then dropping too far back again.

Pleased to have the lead but we've been rubbish in possession. Miggy and Sandro 7s, everyone else nowhere near really. Isak has been absolutely shite aside from the goal involvement - couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Absolute guttner for Willock, he was looking so good and showed us just how much we've missed him. Really hope it's nothing serious.

Thought Barnes was good, Tonali showed loads of promise, Burn solid. Isak looked rocked by that early challenge, Joelinton has been good and bad, and Hall has been almost exclusively terrible.

We don’t like being pressed…..they’ll have watched the Bournemouth game. We just don’t seem as organised and losing Willock, someone like Gordon who can run at players, is definitely a miss.

We look so laboured, as if we’ve played 3/4 of the season already. Fuck knows what’s up with us.

Stale team, was always going to happen with no new first team signings for 2 transfer windows, no chance of Europe this season as things stand

Weird half, we've not looked great, but have broke well a few times and had all the clear cut chances. They've had the majority of the territory but i've not once felt worried, and we've dealt with everything comfortable.

We simply don't control games at all. We're always chasing the ball. It's very concerning like as it's been like this for ages now.

Will having 2 ball playing centre backs make a difference?

The flat three really isolates him at times, Willock is the only one who really bridges it well.

That said, Isak has looked ponderous on the ball today IMO.

Aye, he's had the ball in decent positions and been very wasteful.

It is important we keep trying to get him in the game though. Not easy for a lone man against a back 3.

The Willock/Tonali/Joelinton midfield looked the most fluid of anything we've seen so far this season. No surprise that since Willock's gone off everything has slowed down as no-one gets in the positions Willock does out of a Bruno/Joelinton/Tonali midfield.

Hall poor, Joe poor. Feel bad for Willock too.

Surprisingly Miggy hasnt been utter dog.

We're a low possession, counter attacking team that is actually shite at counter attacking.

Barnes has looked sharp IMO.

The fact we haven’t a centre back that can pick a pass is putting us in all sorts of bother IMO. It invites the press, means the midfield has to sit too deep and puts pressure on the fullbacks.

Worst set piece ever.

Think that was fine, we looked dangerous on the counter and they haven’t created much. Would like some more calm possession in the second half. Sandro looks like a boss, no rust at all.

We miss Schar hugely mind. The ball

is like a hot potato in the final third with this lot and Forest know it.

Not enough threat down the left for me. Isak isolated and frustrated.
