3 assists in one game against Brighton for those worried about whether he can help us against our problem mid-table teams, and no disrespect to Wood who's been brilliant the last year or so, he now has Isak in there.

Can't compare given teams generally didn't respect Forest. When the respect did come towards the end of the season forest fell off a cliff.

He still got 3 goals & 3 assists in his last 10 games. Would take 10/11 goals & 10/11 assists over a 38 game season. Point about better team mates will still stand..

Alot of people just seem to be assuming £55M is a done deal now. I wouldn't be shocked to see it get rejected.

I expect Forest to reject all bids lower than 70m

Have you got any evidence to back that up or do you just suspect - as I say down here in Nottingham they love him and they will be gutted if he goes.

The form table? The fact in March they were viewed as almost certain to qualify.

And to be clear I'm not saying he won't be good against low blocks etc, just pointing out 3 assist Vs Brighton might not count for much.

I honestly think it’s irrelevant as I don’t believe we’ll get him for £55m. The feeling down here is it’s not just words, they genuinely don’t want to lose him and don’t need to sell, on top of that they feel he won’t kick up a fuss either (not my words but 3 season ticket holders I work with).

They did fall to pieces the last few months of the season, once teams ‘sussed’ them.  I think they’ll struggle next season.

Said before that Forest need a sale this summer and they’re kidding themselves if they don’t think so. Only way they can afford not being close to breaking PSR next summer and MGW window is seemingly gone, Anderson they won’t sell this summer, Murillo doesn’t have the market right now, so they can’t force away a legit high bid for a player that does have a market.

I’d expect this to get done.

For what it’s worth I agree and think they’ll regret not taking this offer but still think they won’t.

People down here I know would prefer to lose MGW and keep him but it’s not their call, they’re genuinely all dismissing this and don’t seem the slightest bit worried.

I would say this is very similar to the Man Utd Carrick deal. We are buying a core tactical piece from an uprising team which a lot of premium has to be paid for compensating their risk of complete tactical collapse.

Elanga may not worth that much alone but he really worths that much for Forest.

Not that I am against the deal, I am a big fan of Elanga as he is a fucking pressing machine and counter attack specialist. I always said Man Utd are nuts of letting him go for that cheap. However, don’t expect him to be a game changer. He simply isn’t that type of winger.

Only takes one delusional person to turn the offer down though.

No issue with that, it's just amusing they reckon they are our competition when I don't think anyone north of Nottingham thinks that.

If that's the case, then we definitely need to look elsewhere if this bid is knocked back. Forest fucked us up royally by insisting we had to sign their hardly used keeper for a staggering £20 million. I'm already of the opinion we're overpaying, and we need to tell them to go fuck themselves if they turn this bid down. Interesting 24 hours to see if they do actually accept. I'd not, we need to walk away, as we did with Palace last summer, when they tried to take the piss also.

It gets to a point surely where we have to land one of our top targets. We can't just keep walking away like Craig David. 😂

I’ll be honest out of all the fans I’ve worked with (I lived in Sheffield, north London and now here) Spurs and Forrest fans have both been the best in terms of being dead sound. They both sit and allow a two way conversation about your team and theirs, not something I get from Liverpool, Man U, City , Arsenal or Chelsea fans (Chelsea aren’t as bad as the others to be honest)

One good season and we're equals all of a sudden. Crackerjacks the lot of them.
