That is never a red for Joelinton. Stop being soft. It’s the Premier League ffs.

Young Eddie been let down by his players here. Also your fullbacks are overrated. That Livramento is worse than Wan Bissaka going forward and he can’t cross or pass. Lewis Hall can’t defend. See ya later.

Reading subs making sense today.

Bournemouth playing well. 2-1 behind is fair. Would take a point all day long.

I agree. They're doing us for pace all over the pitch. Even before they scored, I was thinking I'd settle for a draw.

Hopefully Isak will get more into the game in the second half.

Really tough game, they are deservedly ahead, and it feel like we've not really got going, hopefully that last 5 minutes lights a fire under us.

Shit first half, it's like we forgot what we did so well the last few games.

We don't seem to even pass it through Dub's so passing it into dangerous positions instead, resulting in us losing the ball.

Howe has to change something second half as we aren't winning this playing the same way as the first half.

Sub Joelinton, he'll get himself sent off.

Botman on the right has really affected us playing out of their press I've noticed.

Keeps playing it back to Burn. Doesn't seem comfortable using his right to get it out to Tino when he's being pressured, and Tino has been free.

Adams has also been all over Bruno, who is making things harder for us to play out by dropping in deep alongside Tonali and inviting more pressure by trying to hold off players instead of moving it on quickly.

A good side would have punished us on Wednesday night but Wolves couldn’t finish like Bournemouth can. They are winning the mental battle already, we are rattled.

Need to pick it up if we are to expect a result.

Made this point in the pre-match.

Burn's passing out has been utterly tragic. Clear tactic by them to press everyone but him. Indirectly lead to the two goals.

All of them have been sloppy though and aren't dealing with the press. Halls confidence is shook after that first minute.

Mentioned before the game our lack of athleticism at the back could cost us here and it's showing currently.

Wake up boys.

Shocking to target the slowest defender on the planet. This is always going to be the case. But its even worse when both our CB's are slow and not good with the ball. And both Hall and Livro having the worst day that I have ever seen doesnt help either. Midfield being useless cause we are not playing around the pressure, cause of the former, our defenders not being great on the ball. We are getting undressed by the simplest of tactics.

Absolutely he was clearly marked.

It's Bruno's complete lack of effort once he loses the ball that does my head in.  He should at least be sprinting back to try to put pressure on the player on the ball.

They’ve been great. But absolute insanity from us to continually try and play through their press. When we’ve barely managed it for 50 minutes. Defence all over the place and the forwards have been anonymous and we’ve not got them service, anyway.

Massive 45 this. Not many decent options. But Joelinton needs to come off before he’s sent off. Not as useful on a yellow, anyway.

I did think I'd take a draw today. Bournemouth are really good but even aside from that I felt we're a bad matchup. Their physicality in midfield is capable of matching ours while the pace in attack is a nightmare for our slow backline. Even our quickest defender in Tino can't keep with Semenyo.

The ref has allowed some really robust challenges away from Adams in particular which has helped them suffocate us. Second half he should not be able to do as much being on a yellow, and they don't really have any replacements on the bench.

Like I say our best hope is they tire second half like they did against Chelsea.

Howe needs to give them a rocket up their arses. Not one player has had even an average game. Bournemouth have half a team out also. Murphy not existent and the whole back four have been shocking. Typical Newcastle this in a great position and fuck up

Poor half. I’m hoping that the last time we’ll see that CB pairing as good as they are backs to the wall but Botman is on his wrong side and we miss Schar on transition. The front 3 haven’t really been in the game.

Seen this on a few occasions when we have had the chance for a break, we are holding the ball instead of releasing it quickly while the gaps are there to hit. The extra touch is killing us.

They've done us here, with their press, the clinical finishes, and the fouling, but the ref hasn't helped. Guy clearly stands on Bruno's foot and nothing given. Mackem on US commentary says "no intent" or some other bollocks.

This is really poor. Its not like we could not expect this, they have been playing this way all season. And plenty of teams have beaten them.
