Poor at holding the ball up. Struggles to last 90mins, seems like his race is run after 70mins. Also struggles to be available for a full season so lacks durability. Question marks over his left foot finishing and bravery to put head where it hurts to score when it matters.

Other than that he’s excellent. So guessing that works out at a B.

 TBG is good but this is your goat 🐐 wum right here, folks.

Break everything I’ve said down and come at me if you disagree 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m sure someone has the time and effort to on here if they really want to prove me wrong… Make my day [emoji38]

Goals RF v LF?

Goals scored 70 v 71+
Seasons without injury?

Highlight a brave finish amongst a box full of flying feet and heads?

Games when he’s physically dominated a CH and held ball up to get us up the pitch and bring others into play?

I said he was excellent. Lovely to watch. Just not elite. Or at least not my version. Look at his footballing journey. Multiple opportunities to shine and be snapped up well before we did and even then there were doubts.

I hesitated about adding threat from long distance but Liverpool goal aside you could probably chuck that into the debate also.

He’d still be the last player I’d sell because he scores us goals and to replace him would be a gamble and very expensive.

Am I saying that much wrong giving him a B 🤷🏼‍♂️

Given how I criticised his signing at the time as being too expensive, it benefits me to not call him elite, however saying he isn't is insane to me.

@LFEE Out of curiosity, if he's not an elite striker for you, who in modern football is, if anyone?

Just the first on the list there, Goals RF vs LF

Who gives a toss if he's banging in goals just about every game?

I think there will be plenty of strikers who are better at holding the ball up, or go in for diving headers, but his qualities are so elite that he is multiple x more dangerous than all of them.

If you look at the other strikers in that bracket, they're getting service from the likes of Bellingham, Vini Jr, De Bruyne, Yamal, etc.  Isak is doing it with crosses from Jacob Murphy.

Interesting to see how other people view that like, because I think of it the other way, as in Isak makes Murphy's job so much easier for him. The two of them have definitely got an understanding with each other that Isak doesn't have with Gordon as well.

I don't disagree he's made Murphy look better, but you can look at it the other way, and imagine how much easier Isak's job would be with someone like Salah feeding him.  It's no surprise Haaland's numbers have dropped since KDB started to decline.

Says 3 of his 50 PL goals are with his left. 7 headed.

It's obviously an asset to have two strong feet, but if you're scoring the goals he does with his right it doesn't really matter. He gets ludicrous power with side-foot shots.
