What an experience.

 

Coming onto Percy street and seeing both Eldon car parks rammed with people singing songs, Tsang foods waving a Toon flag out the window while a mob climbs on the Oxfam roof to get a good vantage point.

 

One Dad saying to his son "I've waited 41 years for this, you can stand an hour in the cold", and meeting people who came just to film it for those that couldn't make it.

 

Hearing the roar as the bus turned the corner, the chants as the players get close, and the city collectively realising that this was all real.

 

Don't let anyone tell you any different - the League Cup is massive, and so are we.
