BonesJones Posted Tuesday at 00:29 Share Posted Tuesday at 00:29 (edited) Beat these and were 18 points ahead of them in the table. Not something I ever expected to see in my life. Fuck them though weve replaced them. CL here we come!! Edited Tuesday at 00:31 by BonesJones

Geogaddi Posted Tuesday at 05:37 Share Posted Tuesday at 05:37 (edited) Man United at home and the only slight doubt I have about us winning is that we get complacent and don't turn up, how times have changed . Crowd will be bang up for this, should be an excellent atmosphere. Tailor made for a Tonali, Isak show.

McCormick Posted Tuesday at 07:20 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:20 I’ll say it again as it worked last time. Please, please don’t fuck this up lads.
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Tuesday at 08:17 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:17 I’m worried about this one for some reason - probably just general fan nerves because we’re so close to one of the best seasons of all time.
Kid Icarus Posted Tuesday at 08:26 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:26 If this was on an evening I'd be very confident. Still relatively confident though, providing the crowd and team are up for it.
PauloGeordio Posted Tuesday at 08:26 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:26 Hopefully we have Willock and Gordon back for this as bench options. Crowd up for this, hostile atmosphere. If we’re up for it we win (how can we not be up for this game)
Heron Posted Tuesday at 08:34 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:34 I'd hope we see it as an opportunity to really put these to the sword with zero complacency.
Colos Short and Curlies Posted Tuesday at 08:45 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:45 After we win on Sunday all Man U can do is equal our points total, so essentially 7 games before the season ends we're guaranteed to finish above them

jack j Posted Tuesday at 08:49 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:49 Mad that there's probably only 1 player (fernandes) they've got who I'd put in our starting 11 thesedays Years of being envious as fuck of the players they had to the shit they've got now.. AyeDubbleYoo Posted Tuesday at 08:50 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:50 Think Sunday late game is my favourite kick off time, lovely spot where you wouldn't be doing much else.

Buzzing for it. Really looking forward to it - I'm still gutted that 2-0 in 22/23 wasn't 4/5-0! Honestly think that if we're up for it, they don't stand a chance. Words I never thought I'd say when playing Man United. They've definitely improved but they're currently 13th with a -4 goal difference, having played 31 times. We should be putting teams like this to the sword, especially at home. We've not given a team a hiding at St James' all season (discounting Leicester), would absolutely love it to be Sunday. Its because previously your mindset would be that it was unlikely we could beat man united whether they are shit or not. Now we should beat them and have proved we can with gusto. If we’re up for it we win (how can we not be up for this game) One of the journos last night (I think it was Martin Hardy) said Willock won’t be available due to concussion protocol. if it’s the same as rugby then you can’t play for 10/11 days after a concussion. Chicken Dancer Posted Tuesday at 10:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:14 Yeah, our bench is very thin, especially when you consider what Aston Villa can bring on for example. The drop off from Bruno - Longstaff and Isak - Wilson is very telling, there isn't really much to change or impact the game in a positive way. Hopefully we're comfortably ahead like last night by the point we need to make changes with Wednesday in mind.

HaydnNUFC Posted Tuesday at 11:47 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:47 Last two times they’ve been up here we’ve absolutely pummelled them but just without that reflecting in the score like.
The Butcher Posted Tuesday at 11:58 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:58 Can't believe how relaxed I am about us atm. Absolutely no nerves before Brentford or Leicester. I always absolutely shit myself before most games we play. Calm as you like now. It's a all bit surreal. Probably still suffering from trophy-sickness tbh.
