Man United at home and the only slight doubt I have about us winning is that we get complacent and don't turn up, how times have changed .

Crowd will be bang up for this, should be an excellent atmosphere. Tailor made for a Tonali, Isak show.

If this was on an evening I'd be very confident. Still relatively confident though, providing the crowd and team are up for it.

I think 16:30 Sundays, especially in this sort of game, always make for a good atmosphere. Plenty time to ale up prior! Buzzing for it.

Really looking forward to it - I'm still gutted that 2-0 in 22/23 wasn't 4/5-0! Honestly think that if we're up for it, they don't stand a chance. Words I never thought I'd say when playing Man United.

They've definitely improved but they're currently 13th with a -4 goal difference, having played 31 times. We should be putting teams like this to the sword, especially at home. We've not given a team a hiding at St James' all season (discounting Leicester), would absolutely love it to be Sunday.

I’m worried about this one for some reason - probably just general fan nerves because we’re so close to one of the best seasons of all time.

Its because previously your mindset would be that it was unlikely we could beat man united whether they are shit or not.  Now we should beat them and have proved we can with gusto.

Hopefully we have Willock and Gordon back for this as bench options. Crowd up for this, hostile atmosphere. If we’re up for it we win (how can we not be up for this game) :indi:

One of the journos last night (I think it was Martin Hardy) said Willock won’t be available due to concussion protocol.

if it’s the same as rugby then you can’t play for 10/11 days after a concussion.

Yeah, our bench is very thin, especially when you consider what Aston Villa can bring on for example. The drop off from Bruno - Longstaff and Isak - Wilson is very telling, there isn't really much to change or impact the game in a positive way.

Hopefully we're comfortably ahead like last night by the point we need to make changes with Wednesday in mind.

Willock confirmed as missing under concussion protocol.

Gordon unlikely to be back.

Blew em to smithereens a couple years ago in the April sunshine, if that gives you any added zest.

Can't believe how relaxed I am about us atm. Absolutely no nerves before Brentford or Leicester. I always absolutely shit myself before most games we play. Calm as you like now. It's a all bit surreal. Probably still suffering from trophy-sickness tbh.
