Nervous for it a bit as this is exactly the type of game we struggle in.

Hopefully not tonight

It shouldn't be really, they just have a couple of players who can hurt us. If we can keep those in check we should be able to impose our own game on them pretty comprehensively.

Completely passed me by the game is tonight, European football always makes me forget when there’s Prem games.

Think how the Man Utd game went was ideal. Able to bring off the big guys to rest their legs for 20 mins is so huge at this stage of the season. Whilst Palace had a demoralising defeat and will be looking at the FA Cup. As usual, we start off with right tempo, I don’t expect Palace to match it and we can get a lead at HT which is managed during 2nd half.

Feels like the mistakes are less in our game too (famous last words). Just hope we zip ball around quick early on, that’s something that has grated me in league games our slowness when a side sits off us.

Bit like Man U at the weekend I think Palace's focus will be on other games rather than the league. Not often they get to play at Wembley in an FA Cup semi, big chance of making a final too - that's where their priorities should be really. Losing a game to Newcastle is neither here nor there to them in the big picture.

They played really well at City for the first 20 mins and caused loads of issues down their right hand side. Tino, Joelinton and Barnes will need to be switched on from the first whistle. Once City did eventually click I thought Palace heads dropped a bit. Hoping we take the lead and I think they'll start looking at the SF, they'll not want to pick up another injury like Zirkzee did

Interestingly, Kevin Day was on Talksport earlier talking about Palace and their form. Had similar comments to us about our recent form, saying they are getting results but not playing particularly well.

Said they had a purple patch after Xmas and their 2-0 win at Fulham in late February was as complete a Palace performance he's seen. They followed that up by beating Villa 4-1. Apparently the three week enforced break they had due to tonight's game being moved (with us being in the cup final) broke their rythym, and they've not been as fluid since.
