I thought he would have done a Bosman a couple of years back (before ultimately renewing). He must like being the big fish.
Bellis80 Posted Monday at 03:56 Share Posted Monday at 03:56 Players shouldn’t be walking out with their kids and holding babies 2 minutes before kick off when you need to win. Leave it until after the game.
Zero Posted Monday at 04:14 Share Posted Monday at 04:14 After this game I started to think an attacking full back or wing back is probably our top priority this summer, with RW up next.

Remember we have Hall for left back, he's been missing for ages so people are forgetting about him. He was outstanding prior to his injury.

We now practically need two attacking full backs on the pitch and we can’t just have two to serve the purpose (I already count Tino as an attacking one which he actually is just average). Hall is a very big miss yesterday, and his absence obviously affect Gordon a lot. Edited Monday at 04:29 by Zero
jackyboy Posted Monday at 07:24 Share Posted Monday at 07:24 I thought that Osula did more in his 10 minutes on the pitch than some managed the whole match

Tsunami Posted Monday at 08:15 Share Posted Monday at 08:15 There were far too many young, mouthy, scally, Everton fans after the match asking for trouble. Also saw a father laughing at his 2 young daughters mouthing off. There were some canny Scousers in The Newcastle Arms beforehand but they really do have some complete arseholes. Stifler Posted Monday at 08:18 Share Posted Monday at 08:18 Aside from just wanting to win every game regardless, I really wished we’d won this game just because no one is ever going to let go of the decision in the Villa match.

Villa didn't miss out on CL due to that one game it was over the course of the season - every club has had a contentious decision they can point to. I entirely agree with this. No doubt there are situations that we can point to where we were done by. In fact the Liverpool game at home was a similar situation where the referee blew the whistle too soon. My point is others are not going to let it go. Exactly, they got 2 points against Ipswich this season. That included drawing at home to them when Ipswich had ten men.
midds Posted Monday at 09:17 Share Posted Monday at 09:17 Personally I couldn't give a single fuck about what other fans think. Their opinions are generally worthless to me. We've got some fantastic fans of other clubs on here and I'll read their posts every time but in general I wouldn't give a bucket of shit for the opinions of the morons en masse
huss9 Posted Monday at 09:20 Share Posted Monday at 09:20 shit game, but a great night. no need at all to analyse the performance. unless you're weird. gonna get some toast and go back to bed.
Benwell Lad Posted Monday at 09:24 Share Posted Monday at 09:24 10 hours ago, Stifler said: We really lack ideas of breaking teams down who sit with a low block. For as much as our midfield can be a beast, they can be incredibly lacking in creativity. It also doesn’t help that we just play the ball on the wings and keep passing it between our wingers and WB’s instead of just crossing the fucking ball into the box. Yes, despite often brilliant performances and dominating games, yesterday was a performance that we seem to have in us from time to time. Too often probably when you're competing at the top end of the league.
