Surely it's Wolte starting Saturday and Wissa on bench?

Wissa has PL experience but will only have tomorrow's training session before the game while Wolte has trained Tues-Friday.

Yup, has to be I think.

Then again, it's Eddie. Maybe he'll start Osula

Hope's walked it back now. Going for scans on his knee tomorrow apparently.

edit - I wrote this as a cretinous and pointless wind-up attempt but have just checked Hope's Twitter and he actually is being sent for a scan tomorrow. Class.

Meanwhile, Yoane Wissa is set to train with his new team-mates for the first time on Friday. He arrived back from international duty with DR Congo on Thursday morning and was immediately checked over by medical staff, including being sent for a scan. The £55m summer signing was forced off in the 74th minute of Tuesday's 3-2 defeat by Senegal, in which he scored, with a knee issue.

Clickbait.

He’s had the scan and he’s fine.

Good article. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/ced5nyvjdq4o

Didn't know about his acid attack. Wild situation.

The season-ticket holder suggested former players Bryan Mbeumo and Christian Norgaard and ex-manager Thomas Frank will all receive good receptions as a result when they return to Gtech Community Stadium following their summer moves.

But it will be different for Wissa.

I kind of have the feeling that especially Mbeumo would have acted in a similar way if Wissa was the one who got sold early, and they rejected all the bids for Mbeumo. Obviously we will never find out. I don't like what Wissa did, but it was notoriously easy for Mbeumo to act perfectly when he got sold so early.

Wissa would be a game changer against Barca with their high line. Nick is too slow to exploit that and Wissa really has to start that game.

An argument can be made for Nick starting too, I know he's not as quick but his control and distribution in tight areas means he's perfect foil to release our fast wingers behind their high line also.

It's nice to have different options. Our problem over the last couple of seasons is being one dimensional.
