I mean to be fair this is Brentford. If we hadn’t made champions league or Europe most of us would understand our best players wanting out. Mole
2 minutes ago, KaKa said: Exactly! Yeah, the rules are different, but ultimately it's the fact that they have more of their money to play with! I guess perhaps the difference maybe isn't anywhere near as significant as in the States though. I haven't looked into it, but the difference is fkn huge. I've heard a lot of NBA players talk about no state income tax being a genuine decision to decide who they play for. I doubt that's a thing here to the same degree. ponsaelius
He does have the same agent as Toney who was sold to a PIF club. I think signing him and moving him onto Saudi in 2-3 years for a pay rise seems a viable out and one which would probably be in our thinking given his age profile. These Brentford players by the nature of their career paths and the relatively low salary structure there do seem to be looking for late career paydays more than others. toontownman
More flushing out the club thats actually in for him rumours. "Set to bid" - when spurs (clearly his most likely destination) are named too, just smacks as using us to make Spurs big higher. Would still love him here. Fenham Mag
Can’t be arsed with this again man Can those Twitter gimps put us out of our misery and say he only wants Spurs.

The Prophet
I honestly just can't see this being a goer, particularly with Spurs in the mix (ex-manager, London, etc). He'd be a good signing at the right price though.
Yorkie
Would be delighted with this dude at a fair but competitive price. If there's any truth to it and we end up gazumped by another big six club yet again, you'd expect that'll probably be the end of us chasing the more coveted PL attackers.
