I mean have been sucked in by an imposter. It was basically saying there needs to be a review into why we can't attract players to the club and that PIF will likely be holding an investigation meeting into it. But she's normally very diplomatic so it's probably bullshit

There's no need to conduct an investigation. We aren't doing the diligent groundwork and are offering less money to players than rival clubs. Then we continue to pursue similar situations.

 

I said this from the start - Sesko and his agent were playing funny buggers with Arsenal.

We want top players but can't offer top wages.

 

We could buy the next level down quiet easily but they now want the top salary we pay.

 

And if we did the latter we would have a whole squad wanting salary increases 

 

Rock and a hard place but we could keep Isak and others on new contracts if we don't spend money on filling the squad gaps

It's not going to register with some people. They are convinced the big club pull is something fictional, and therefore it must be a failure of the board somehow. 

 

If there is a failure it's been chasing players who we were not likely to get.
