Guivarch. And he didn’t perform well (from memory). Did win the world cup though.

We’d signed him before the tournament. He scored one or two for France and looked decent.

I vaguely remember him destroying his testicles on a post in one of his first games.. was it against Liverpool?

We signed Guivarc'h before the 98 world cup kicked off, then he didn't score a goal for the cup winning side.

Fine, we’ll have him too.

I wouldn't mind Højlund if we don't get Wissa. He's obviously struggled at Man U, but I think there's a very good player in there.

Just saying it’s a risk.  Imo he has less pedigree than Isak did.

Very tidy feet which I love. I think he’s a baller - not certified. But is he a bagsman?

Understand the concerns but when the club has spent big since the takeover we've a 100% success rate. Best years ahead of him still and you've got to counter in the fact he'll be fully Eddie Howe'd in 12-16 months time and likely being courted by Real Madrid, PSG & Barca.

I think he could well become a certified baller and prolific bagsman in the right setup.

Needs a gold shifterino and a proper crossboss to move him those peach slices for bags.

My hopes are high again. Fully braced for disappointment.

Man U supposedly in for Fermin Lopez at Barca. Obviously different position, but they really can't do two 70m transfers..

Interesting. Maybe opting to go with Cunha up top?

Isak was a risk...he hadnt exactly set the world alight before us. We took the chance where no one else did. Its not like we poached a player from under the nose of "the elite". He was a good/average forward from a middling spanish team. He has only grown to one of the best since being with us

I still think Man Utd get Watkins( swap with Garnacho)..Watkins is apparently Amorims choice, Sesko is Vivells choice. Surely with it been Amorims 1st proper window they let him pick the players he feels that will benefit his team
