Do Man Utd even have the funds available without having to raid the company pension pot and put the grounds man on a zero hours contract?

Hopefully when Eddie met the PIF officials he told them that he doesn’t want any PIF teams giving them money for their cast-offs

No guarantee that’ll happen tho.

There's no guarantees anything will happen, this is all just a bunch of posters guessing at the end of the day.

True. Personally I think it won’t stop at Šeško tho. Isak will only stay if we exhaust all options be that Ramos, Watkins or whoever. I genuinely cannot see Isak playing for this club again

This is where I am whether I like it or not.

But sesko and the transfer carry on around him doesn't fill me full of confidence.

There is a reason LFC are gonna blow their load on isak, the striker market is shit.

After the way he's went on I hope he leaves and we get what we need to get

BUT if we can't get Sesko/Watkins, he can and should be reintegrated into the squad, once we start going down further a list of targets to replace him this summer it's a big risk!

All really depends if he turns up to training tomorrow or continues his strop

Why don't we start worrying about not getting Sesko if we don't. Seems quite close.

I personally couldn’t care less if we get him or not. I know nothing about him and whatever happens then so be it, that’s where I’m at with the whole bloody thing at the moment.

I just want to know one way or the other. Either way, we cannot start the season without signing a striker.

We won’t sell Isak until his replacement is sorted.

edit, ignore this. We need one regardless. Agreed.

Well they’re wrong. If Ramos or Sesko sign Isak is 100% leaving. I don’t have even a single doubt.

Wissa, Strand Larson… they’re the Wilson replacements.

And be back to square one? Strand Larsen would be £50m+, so unless we get Wissa, we’re back to big money 2nd choice, so may as well keep Isak instead of directly strengthening a rival and potentially needing to get DCL as a last resort 2nd choice striker.

Pretty confident that Sesko has a higher ceiling than Ramos. He is very quick for his size, and can be an absolute monster in the air. But Ramos would be some purchase. If getting one or the other means that Isak goes to Liverpool, however, I can't help feel that we are really fucking ourselves.

I was saying this the other week, but in general it makes zero sense to me to worry about things before they even happen.

If we get 2 strikers, then yeah, it's pretty obvious at that point that Isak is fucking off. But FFS, get Ramos and Sesko then. And only do business with PSG for Isak.

Of course convincing Ramos after we get Sesko may be even more of a Sisyphean task. I'm going to allow this wishful thinking though.

I don’t doubt Shaddow Puppets is close to things, but he will also be led down the wrong path like we have been doing all summer.

Signing Sesko, then spending at least £40m+ on a back up, to then sell Isak would be horrendous business. Essentially we’re scrambling around like a pathetic desperate club at the whim of giving Isak what he wants?

All whilst we have to roll with Lascelles as a back up CB.

As horrendous as it would be, its still some of the best we can do.

Just keep adding them days [emoji38]

Every tweet just goes "decision expected today, tomorrow"

I wish I could focus on something else other than the 24hr commentary that may or may not even be true [emoji38]
