Trying to mentally prepare myself for what’s likely to happen today. I’ve been ALL IN on this Šeško transfer.

Head will be gone when the “Here we go” “Only wanted Man u” tweets drop from that pasta nonce.

Same here. This is the one that'll tip me over the edge from angry to completely depressed!

You do realise the super league was replacing European competition they would have still been greeding it up in the PL with even more money.

They couldn't be kicked out because the generate too much money and interest.

Nobody wants to watch Sunderland Burnley.

What’s the alternative here then? Continue as we are? It’s a closed shop as is, at least with them pissing off it’d leave the rest of us to a fair competition.

Leipzig are bunch of cucks as well if they're so readily willing to accept a lower offer. They should be telling Manchester to up their bid or Sesko is going nowhere.

As far as I’m aware I’ve never known a lower offer to be accepted over a higher one. It’s bizzare.

We are the masters of our own destiny. It's that simple. We can blow them out of the water even with these rules so what's going on should be seen as a choice.

Can’t get invested in players who don’t play for us, wanted this to happen of course. It’s Isak for me, he’s derailed our already slow and ponderous summer. Signing a number 1 striker wasn’t on our bingo card and it’s threw us and the clock is ticking to get everything we need

Isak isn’t going until we’ve got a replacement. Isak is better than Šeško. Win win for me.

If the kid isn’t chomping at the bit to join NUFC then I’d rather not have him

The two clubs couldn’t be much different, MUFC have got the prestige, global reach and money but are in malaise on the pitch, NUFC have been overachieving on the pitch but have very little prestige or global reach and aren’t allowed to spend our money

If you have to spend a week or more pontificating over those two options then you’re either a dithering twonk, a cocktease, or both of those things

He’s giving me Charlotte from Sex In The City vibes

Worst thing to ever happen to football was that Super League proposal not going through.

Shame they didn’t just fuck off and leave the rest of us to it, and that goes for other countries across the continent as well.

One day the non-cartel clubs might hopefully just fuck it all off themselves

The thing I don't quite understand is that surely we have (or had) a plan that didn't involve Isak leaving - targets identified in key positions, an approximate budget for those moves etc. Why aren't we making those moves independently of the Isak situation?

Then if Isak doesn't go, the squad is where we hoped it would be when last season ended. If he does go then we'll have his replacement (whoever that is) plus some additional PSR leeway for either this transfer window or a future one.

I don't get why the Isak situation, as difficult as it is, stops us making moves for players we've known we needed for months?

Wissa is the backup/Wilson replacement but he’s not allowed to leave until Brentford have a replacement. Lots of shit is going to happen in the last 7-10 days, is suspect we’ll be involved in a lot of it.

Opposite for me. I've been desensitised to it now.

Aye.

I'm sorry but if people didn't see this coming and got invested it's on them

I mean aye, you have the little 'what if' in the back of your mind but there was a reason it was being dragged out.

I'm still of the opinion we should be just ignoring Isak's huff, make him honor his contract for another year (his current contract... No fuckin raise in salary), try again for Wissa and look at the other positions we need.

Wasted too much time trying to bring in a replacement for someone who we don't have to let go.

You mean some kind of blueprint and planning - is that allowed?
