I just worry if he has an injury hit season we're genuinely stuck with him on a hefty contract for 4-5 years.

Same could be said for every player anyone signs ever. This is why players have contracts, it's protection for them as much as for the club.

It's why this Isak bollocks is so frustrating.

For Jacob fucking Ramsey though..?

The player you break you're wage structure for doesn't matter, it just matters that it happens.

Also, I'm fairly sure the numbers quoted are wrong anyway. Bruno is the highest earner on £160k.

So we wouldn't be breaking it by paying Ramsey £125k

I tried to sell them the headline "Three-o Walcott" when Theo Walcott turned thirty.

when Newcastle Vipers purchased Sunderland Chiefs ladies team I offered "snakes with tits"

Is £125k p/w more than Gordon's latest contract?

No, he's on more than Isak but less than Bruno. Second highest earner now alongside Joelinton, I believe.

£125k puts him on par with Tonali and Trippier. Which isn't crazy, he'll probably play more than Trippier and you'd imagine Tonali is due a new contract soon to bump up his wages, especially if he has a season like last.

How bad must Villa be FFP wise if they sold their Woman's team for £50m and still need sales to comply / spend a little amount?!

They are selling him now rather than next June because he won’t sign a new contract and will only have 1 year left at the end of the season.  It’s value led rather than strictly PSR. No team needs sales for PSR in August

He’s unlikely to get any sort of wage improvement at Villa, they are pretty fucked with their wages currently.

They're already miles over where they should be (was it 95% wages to turnover) so I cannot imagine he gets an increase of much note.

Who knows.

No way can you give those wages to a player who’s got such an unreliable injury record. Prove your fitness and your quality first

He arguably proved his fitness last season like. Played a lot of games, even if many of them were as sub.

Been a while since he proved his quality, granted.
