If all our midfielders are ever fit at the same time we will have a lot of flexibility. Anyway he's been in excellent form for a good stretch of games now, very pleased to see it! One of his best showings for us was when he played in a 2 against Bournemouth in the cup. He was always showing for the ball and demanding it, Bruno style. That said. I always thought he was more of an attacking mid or more suited to playing off the left. I just think he struggled early on as an 8 in Howe’s system. But he has picked it up now and looks comfortable right across the 3. Was still getting caught out by being too square of flat. With runners always getting in behind.
