 This window has reached the absurd point. Can only laugh.

Hang on dude. we ain't done yet.

This club has chosen one window to make up for years of lack of ambition, lack of drama, dire targets and rank excuses that typified the Ashley era [emoji38]

We getting the full Monty right now.

He’s easily worth 50million in today’s market.

I’m not going to dispute what he is or isn’t worth really I’m just saying that’s the majority of the reaction on here saying it’s an overpay rather than they don’t want him because he’s rubbish. Very few if any have said he’s shit. Personally I’d rather him that Wissa.

In today’s market I’m afraid 60 million is the going rate for a goal scorer with PL experience.

PL goals are always going to demand a premium, and those players are more difficult to buy as well. Doesn't mean they are better value though, sometimes it's just about timing. If we could have got Ekitike for £80m his ceiling is sky high at £80m. Now you could get clubs asking close to that for Jackson or Larsen, and because of the timing at the end of the window, they can do that.

I like Wissa better as a player, but if you are going to overpay by £10-20m, then at least Larsen is only 24, so if he continues scoring goals he'll hold his value.

Sort of agree depending on what fee they both would deal at all hyperthetical of course if its 65 for larsen and 45 for wissa it may seem closer it terms of which is the better deal.

Still think Jackson as a loan may be a better option for one of the players just so we can have more time to future plan in a hopefully less peak period in the market.

Also larsen isn't as young as you think he's 26 in Feb.

Absolutely, at face value Ekitike and Sesko haven’t gone for much more. But we are where we are and JSL is about the safest bet out there for us at the moment in terms of guaranteeing goals.

As I’ve previously mentioned before I think he’ll score more than Šeško this season as well.

He's 25 and will be 26 early Jan.

Ok so he's 25 then. Still relatively young investment wise, you could sell him in two years without him losing too much value provided he does the business.

So we are going to overpay for JSL by £33m and Wissa £24m and sell Isak for less than £30m we want?

Doesn’t strike me as the best move if I’m being honest

needs must and all that shite.

Would be ridiculous as someone on here put it to overpay for Isak’s replacement just so Liverpool can under pay for him. We overpay for one and keep Isak imo

Do they though? Still think we should look at a creative goal scoring midfielder instead. We create so little. Create more chances and less need to take everyone. Particularly without a focal point striker.

So you think our manager should change his tactics?
