That was my thought as well, looked like he celebrated that with real joy with his teammates.

Doesn’t necessarily mean anything, he could like his teammates and the club but want a move for career progression.

Two goals in the league cup second round isn't going to decide his future man

You don't think they'll be haggling for a higher price now after he's scored two goals? I mean they were haggling over the price even before that.

The cup tied rule does need to change though.  Not for this, but it's bollocks.  Either do it for the league as well or not at all.

Nah. It’s there to prevent the bigger clubs buying up the better players in January merely to progress in the cup competitions over those smaller clubs. It’s certainly needed.

It just means more delays and haggling at best. More likely they will decide he's not for sale after all, I mean his goals could well be the difference between survival and relegation. We really need to find a striker who we can get a deal done for without being told not happening 24hrs before the window closes.

Just let the club get on with it and stop anticipating the worst case scenario all the time. We'll be able to know for sure how likely or not it is in a few days.

They've been willing to go right to the wire for him and Wissa because they clearly have a great deal of confidence in them delivering, and want to give themselves every chance of landing them.

Got to stop with the bedwetting.

Hearing Liverpool have submitted a bid.

Wolves must have opened the door and encouraged Liverpool to do so.

They’ve been respectful about it and only wiretapped the Wolves’ boardroom to find out what the asking price is and they’ve been extra respectful by bidding well under this

He doesn't look like a player that's leaving.

Is he supposed to growl at his teammates and shoo them away instead then?!

Never mind that no deal has been agreed yet, and so he in fact doesn't know whether he'll be leaving yet!

Not going to lie I'd have been more encouraged by a simple nod of acknowledgment for the goal and respectful handshakes all round with his teammates.

Nah, unless their Sporting Director is actually Del Boy.

Amazing what 2 goals can do, he was worse than shite to 90% on here a couple of hours ago.

In fairness. Seen this a few times and I don’t think many on here said he was shite. The main contention is he’s not worth £60m and he’s not.

In today’s market I’m afraid 60 million is the going rate for a goal scorer with PL experience.

he joined wolves a month ago for £23m id say £40m is about right. Regardless not many people have dismissed him as being shite
