Stuttgart fans seem happy to have avoided selling to Bayern. I can relate to that.

On the other hand with Bayern having saved on this I'd be delighted to facilitate the transfer of Isak to them in Jan or next summer.

God I'd love to sell that Swedish cunt to those strudel nonces.

A lot of the clips I’ve seen are him dropping deep as a bit of a playmaker. Do we still need a striker [emoji38]

João Pedro and Ekitike are a similar profile, I'd argue - like a 9.5/second striker type who drops deep to link play. With 2 wide, fast forwards, it should be a good fit.

Isak's a unicorn in the sense that he can drop deep but can play as a 9, and do both well.

He’s more of a big 10 than a proper striker, tbh

I’m buzzing we’re close to signing him, don’t get me wrong; but his Bundesliga numbers aren’t miles better than what JSL did in the Prem.

Feels like a lot of the buzz is just because he’s from another league and people haven’t been watching him every week. The unknown always feels more exciting, I guess.

Still though, he is a striker, and I’m definitely getting caught up in it a bit. Just all over the place with how I feel especially in it means Isak is going.

I feel like the buzz is more because of his overall game. His technical skill set is just wayyyy better, this stuff really matters at the top level. Yes he hasn't had a huge goalscoring output yet, but he has a overall skillset that can do so much for a team's overall attacking threat.

I get you want your striker to put the ball in the net with regularity and hopefully he improves in this regard but he has stuff to his game that most of the forwards i've seen linked simply do not have.

Why am I not surprised that Lush "liked" this NEGATIVE comment? Has money on us finishing in the bottom half/relegation places. Great Toon fan though. ;)

The fact that it came out of nowhere and completely put all of the In The Knows in the bin, adds +1000 to excitement. Don't even care if he's any good.

Now its the Winter of our discontent; made glorious Summer by this Jorman lad.

congratulations gentlemen! I've often thought we just clutch names out of the blue but some of you have agitated for this guy for quite some time. I wonder if whoever's left in nufc's scouting team read NO avidly and take heed?

 Well done!

What I'm excited most is if we can get the ball to feet to him in the build up play he is going to unleash our wingers I assume and then use his skill in and around the box.

Will he take #9??

@FroggyPlease tell us that we are paying too much for him.

It is expensive like. What he does after the fact doesn't matter.

Let's hope he works out for you long term and doesn't try and run to Liverpool in two years.

The Scousers are going to absolutely douse him. It’s going to be brutal baldy bukkake. Pray for Luke.

Still convinced he has a humiliation kink tbh, he's using us all for his sordid little fantasies.
