Big day for big Nick tomorrow

Shrugs off lauded Arsenal centre half number one to assist Gordon early on

Shrugs off lauded Aresnal centre half number two, and megs a fullback, to assist Elanga just before half time

Unaffected by the attentions of both lauded Arsenal centre halves as he wriggles free of them to score from range late in the game

The Woltemade era begins

Brought to you by San Miguel and Shiraz

Is this the modern equivalent of Klinsmann driving around in an old Volkswagen Beetle?

Saw a clip of an interview with Kelly Rowland years later. She doesn’t even know what MS Excel is - must be nice [emoji38]

I bet she does now as she nearly went bankrupt

I'm sure there was some piece done recently about German footballers, particularly the youngsters, basically saying they are very well grounded, don't go in for the bling/flash cars/front page headlines etc.

This would go nicely with my experience of general German people when I visit Berlin to see friends.

In general they don't spend a tonne of money on flashy clothes and other expenses you might consider non-essential.

Of course being a footballer you might be enticed to do so because you have ludicrous amounts of money but in general I've found that they don't go crazy on that sort of thing.

Granted Nick seems to like fashion a lot so maybe not the best example  but he does seem very grounded.

Surprised to hear that about Berlin, thought it was hipster central. Visited Saarland (Homburg and Waldemohr) for first time this summer and it was a complete fashion vacuum. Made Manchester (quite a dress down city) seem like a centre of high fashion.
