I'll be honest and admit I knew little about him before we signed him... but if youd told me at the start of the summer that wed sell Isak for a British record fee but wed replace him with someone of this level, id have probably accepted it.

 

Hes not going to score Isak numbers (maybe he will) but hes gonna take us on a lovely footballing journey that Isak couldn't and we might become a better all around side.

Is it, though? Really?  Wissa is 29 going on 30 and has only had one  decent season in a top league. Wolfemande is 23 and already firing on all cylinders even getting used to a new league and new club. You answer your own question yourself at the end of it, in all honesty:

An excellent performance from Wor Big Nick tonight. Held the ball up well - some great skill and balance, and a goal too.

 

Early doors of course, but this lad could be a super-star in the coming years.

Seeing enough already to suggest he’ll offer more to the team than Isak while providing goals. He’s going to be amazing , this could turn out to be an incredible deal.

Really enjoy watching him play. Obviously sometimes, by the sheer number of defenders on his back, he'll lose it - but it's wonderful to watch a player and know that, when he gets it, he's gonna control it and do something positive.

His best display for us yet. Not an easy game to hold the ball as we could see with many other players struggling, but he could have done a lot more damage if everyone else had been on that wavelength in the first half.
