Manchester United vs. Newcastle United: 26/12/25 @ 20:00 (Sky Sports)

It is with a sense of melodramatic inevitability that one must conclude that, should the forthcoming fixture fail to culminate in a triumphant outcome, it may very well constitute the terminal chapter in Eddie Howe’s tenure as the esteemed overseer of Newcastle United’s tactical destiny.

Can't tell whether them missing Fernandes is a good thing or not. He bails them out, but he's also why their midfield doesn't work - so without him, will they actually get a sensible midfield by accident?

Guessing it will be Casemiro and Ugarte? Hardly screams ‘mobile’.

I dont think they have a sensible midfield available. Mainoo is also injured? Ugarte and Casemiro midfield?
